Photographs I’ve taken in and around Tucson.
By Tucson artist Rock “CyFi” Martinez assisted by artist Cristina Perez, painted on the Warehouse and Transfer building at 100 East 6th St.
This mural is part of a much larger mural painted in an alley in the Tucson downtown area by artist Ignacio Garcia.
Land on the east side of Tucson was cleared for “another” housing development. These saguaro cacti were removed and gathered here in one location until they could be re-located. These are protected native plants.
Honey bees were pollinating a night bloom in the morning before it closed. I captured this with an Asahi Pentax SMC Macro-Takumar 50mm F4 screw mount lens on a full frame Sony.
The former Casbah Teahouse and Restaurant at 628 N. 4th Avenue, had this Medusa mural by Rock “CyFi” Martinez, at the entranceway. Photo taken in 2011.
A great independent record store in Tucson, Arizona. This location at 426 E. 7th Street has a mural of Poison Ivy by Tucson artist Danny Martin.
